Everything was perfect, very pleasant staff, stunningly beautiful views of the bay. We greatly enjoyed the convenience of the double room, as well as climate control, a work desk, and ironing facilities etc. The hotel was situated in the central location close to the ocean.

Over generously described! Area is really poor but central. Hotel is very old and low standard. It was so poor that I checked out after the first night of my planned 2 night stay.

The hotel staff offered the best customer service I have seen in a long time. One of the managing staff said to us, "the guest is never wrong". In every way the did their best to make our stay pleasant. One morning we over slept and missed our breakfast. The staff was so kind to call up and ask us what we would like to be brought up to our room at no charge. Also, the location was close to shops with in the city center and a local museum and several places to eat. The tea kettle in the room was clean. These days, that is rare.
The hotel has need of much renovation. It had a very strong "old" odor throughout the hotel, except a wing that seem to have been recently renovated. The lighting in the room was very poor. The restaurant menu was very scarce, there was very little for me, as I am a vegetarian. That was a big down side for me.
